IRON SKY - A movie that is different?!

Iron Sky is a 2012 Finnish-German-Australian science-fiction comedy film directed by Timo Vuorensola and written by Johanna Sinisalo and Michael Kalesniko. It tells the story of Nazi Germans who, after being defeated in 1945, fled to the Moon where they built a space fleet to return in 2018 and conquer Earth.

Wayne's World: Wayne and Garth did it again (2008 MTV Movie Awards)

Mike Myers and Dana Carvey reprised their roles as Wayne and Garth for the first time since 1994 at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.
Nothing about the two seems to have changed, except both are now in their late-forties/early-fifties, and Garth has gotten pubes he named "Fred" and "Tony."

MotorStorm: RC is a racing video game by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the Sony PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems.The game is a radio controlled spin-off of the popular MotorStorm franchise, and is available on the PlayStation Network.

A few days ago I found this on youtube.

Nikon Coolpix S30 - perfect snapper camera or overprized toy?

Today I pre-ordered a Nikon Coolpix S30.

The camera uses a 1/3" CCD sensor, which is quite small. It won't be the best choice to take pictures in low-light-conditions.

I am waiting for delivery to test the Nikon S30 for myself.

The worst Lego knock-off: Hawk Blocks!!!

This is the worst LEGO knock-off I have seen so far. Hawk Blocks! Do not buy it, do not build it. The "bricks" are of very poor quality and do not match with genuine Lego.
And as a matter of fact it is the ugliest racing car in the history of mankind.

An amazon customer wrote recently in his review:

"This toy cannot be named within really good toys as Lego at all. The fabrication is very bad, some parts do not fit, some parts are not included at all. The picture shown on the package does not fit with the toys inside. Bad quality for a high price."





LEGO Stop-motion: TOUCH THE MOON a brick film by yoweyer

It took youtube meber yoweyer two months to make this movie. The idea was producing a space themed video with his own lego collection. Stop-motion-animation was done with MAGIX VIDEO software and the sound effects with VISION LAB studio software.
There was no studio, just a camera and  a green screen yoweyer's kitchen.

As there is no really good review of the really cheap LED 720p (HDready) Projector Luxcine ESP300 so far, I'm gonna try to collect as much information as possible about the device. There is not even a user's manual available on the manufacturer's website.

Vienna's oldest rollercoaster - Gnome Coaster ("Zwergalbahn")

My first (kind of) brickfilm - Cobi Light Gamma Helicopter review

So... ...this is my first brickfilm.



I shot the stills for the animation with a Canon PowerShot A40, using Canon Remote capture (WinXP). The rendering (also resizing and cropping) was done with AVIDEMUX under Ubuntu 10.04.

It is a review of the COBI 2115 Small Army Light Gamma Helicopter.

Welcome home Atlantis! Farewell Space Shuttle! The end of an era....

STS-135 successfully ended on July 21st 2011. The space shuttle Atlantis returned safely from its last mission, marking marking the end of NASA's 30-year space shuttle program.

As a tribute I built my own "Lego Space Shuttle"...




..and I bought a new one! Lego City 3367.
