KITT is back! New from Mattel's HotWheels!

K.I.T.T. is back. After last year's model of the "Time Machine DeLorean" Mattel released a classic "Knight Industries Two Thousand" with their Hotwheels series "HW PREMIERE 2012".

The new KITT in mint condition. Could be worth a fortune in a couple of years.

Rear view. Even the "California KNIGHT" plate is there!

ELVIS lives! Playmobil 5157 Figures series 2

Elvis Presley died suddenly on August 16, 1977 at the age of 42.
Now Playmobil is bringing back the King of Rock'n'Roll.

The Elvis figure is one of twelve "mystery pack boy figures" that can be collected, assembled, and interchanged.

Each Figure comes unassembled in its mystery pack, put them together, or interchange its parts to create a new character!

Really funny Lego knock-off review on youtube! Lego Hitler?

A few days ago I found this on youtube.
It is a review on several Lego knock-off sets like the Enlighten Bricks Piano or the Ligao Motorcycle.
Youtube member Blunty3000 has some real good videos on his channel.

The worst Lego knock-off: Hawk Blocks!!!

This is the worst LEGO knock-off I have seen so far. Hawk Blocks! Do not buy it, do not build it. The "bricks" are of very poor quality and do not match with genuine Lego.
And as a matter of fact it is the ugliest racing car in the history of mankind.

But see for yourself....

An amazon customer wrote recently in his review:
"This toy cannot be named within really good toys as Lego at all. The fabrication is very bad, some parts do not fit, some parts are not included at all. The picture shown on the package does not fit with the toys inside. Bad quality for a high price."

Started collecting LEGO Star Wars (8089 Hoth Wampa Cave, 8092 Luke's Landspeeder)

So here they are....
...my first two new LEGO Star Wars sets!

Better watch your arm, big white guy!
The set 8089 Hoth Wampa Cave was released in July/August of 2010 as part of the LEGO Classic Star Wars line.
The set consists of 297 pieces, and includes a Wampa, Luke Skywalker (Hoth), a Skeleton, and Zev Senesca minifigures. Some notable features include a Snowspeeder with a winch and an opening windshield, a snow cave with a full skeleton and spine for the Wampa to feed on, a place to hang Luke from the ceiling like in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and a feature allowing for the release of Luke's Lightsaber.
This set adds to the growing number of LEGO Star Wars sets based on the snow planet Hoth, and the battle that took place there.

These aren't the droids you are looking for!
The set 8092 Luke's Landspeeder is a classic Star Wars set released on January 10, 2010. The set's main feature is the small, hidden compartment at the rear of the speeder used for storing the Jedi's Lightsabers. This set is Limited Edition and a Wal-Mart exclusive in the US.
Of the six minifigures included in this set, four are exclusive.

The Lego Basketball theme was licensed by the NBA in 2003. There were 27 Basketball sets released.
The minifigures in this theme had a special design. There are little springs in the legs, their larger arms and hands make it possible to shoot balls.
In 2011 (8 years after the release) these are really hard to find sets.

My first (kind of) brickfilm - Cobi Light Gamma Helicopter review

So... ...this is my first brickfilm.

I shot the stills for the animation with a Canon PowerShot A40, using Canon Remote capture (WinXP). The rendering (also resizing and cropping) was done with AVIDEMUX under Ubuntu 10.04.

It is a review of the COBI 2115 Small Army Light Gamma Helicopter.

Welcome home Atlantis! Farewell Space Shuttle! The end of an era....

STS-135 successfully ended on July 21st 2011. The space shuttle Atlantis returned safely from its last mission, marking marking the end of NASA's 30-year space shuttle program.

As a tribute I built my own "Lego Space Shuttle"...

..and I bought a new one! Lego City 3367.
